In Protection relay onsite testing standardized operation system, through the interface between the client software and the tester, the client software can control the tester,complete the test task and return result data automatically with less personal technical dependence and manual intervention,to realize the automation and standardization of protection relay testing.
This document mainly describes the interface protocol design between the client software and the Relay tester.
The formulation of this manual is based on the following conditions as a design constraint:
The working methods and steps of protection relay tester are controlled by the client software.
The client software cooperates with the relay tester to complete the test task through the interface software provided by relay tester manufacturer.
The parameters transmitted by the client software to the tester can completely replace the parameters entered by the user on the relevant interface of the tester.
During the test, the working mode between the interface link library and the tester is interactive.
The final result of each test item of the tester should be immediately fed back to the interface link library.
The tester accepts the work order requirements of the interface link library, and performs necessary data processing, logical judgment and mathematical operations.
The interface specification is universal and does not depend on specific tester manufacturer and model. Any type of tester that complies with and implements this interface,can seamlessly access the system, and the client software does not need to be modified.
The design should realize the proper separation between protection expertise and software development, so that the interface has good flexibility and scalability to better adapt to the changes of protection device model and test method.
